Log routing¶
Choose which VRChat audit-log events LogDog sends to Discord, where they appear, and
which colors they use. Open Log Routing on the dashboard,
or use /events in Discord.

Configure on the dashboard¶
- Select your server and open Log Routing.
- Find the category or event type you want to change.
- Set its delivery state and destination channel.
- Use an event's Pings control for notifications, or its color swatch for Premium colors.
Open an event row's preview to check how its message and mentions will look.
Configure in Discord¶
Run /events. The menu is visible only to you.
- Categories changes a whole category.
- Event Types changes individual events within a category.
- Channel changes the destination for the selected category or event.
- Colors changes Premium event colors.
Categories vs. individual events¶
Categories group related events, such as Member, Instance, and Request. Each delivery setting has three options:

| Default | Follow the category setting. A category without an explicit setting defaults to On. |
A per-event setting overrides its category. For example, turn Member off and turn Group Member Join on to receive joins from that category without its other events. Categories skipped during setup need a channel and appropriate delivery settings before they can post. See the Event catalog.
Send an event (or category) to a different channel¶
A per-event channel overrides its category's channel. Set a category to #group-logs,
then give Group User Ban its own #moderation destination to separate those logs.
Reset an event's channel to use its category's destination again. Make sure a category still has a destination before clearing its own routing.
Custom colors (premium)¶
On the dashboard, click an event's color swatch, choose a color, and select Apply. Use default restores its severity color. Copy this color to every event in the category applies the chosen color to that category's events.
In Discord, use /events → Colors, select an event, and choose a preset or enter
#RRGGBB. The menu includes an embed preview and a reset option.
Both interfaces edit the same setting. Changes affect future delivery; messages already posted are not recolored or moved.
Troubleshooting¶
If an event is missing, check its own toggle and channel before checking its category. Then use Diagnostics to check channel access and VRChat Audit Logs to inspect the event's delivery status. See the FAQ.
