Requirements

Requirement Details
Your access Manage Server or higher to browse. Administrator to add or edit reasons on the dashboard.
LogDog in Discord No additional permission to browse stored records. Updating a reason in Discord needs access to its original message.
LogDog in VRChat View Audit Log to collect new group activity.
Plan Browsing is free. CSV exports require Premium.

Discord feature grants do not grant dashboard access. See Staff permissions.

VRChat Audit Logs

Rows show the time, event, actor, target, and relevant context, such as a reason or world name. Select a row for details. User links open their moderation history; other links open the related world, event, or role page, subject to your access to that page.

Finding things

  • Choose a time range, Category, or Event type.
  • Search by name, world, ID, or post/event title.
  • Open More filters to filter by actor, target, or delivery status: sent, failed, pending, or skipped.
  • Remove individual filter chips, or use Clear to reset filters while keeping the range.
  • With Premium, Export CSV downloads up to 10,000 matching records.

The drawer

Opening a row shows the full event and any available actions, including Open in Discord, Full history, Instance stats, and Add reason or Edit reason. It can include profile information, recent group history, delivery problems, and related LogDog activity.

The Discord message shows the recorded message content. Details for support contains IDs and timing information useful when reporting a problem.

Copy the current URL to share the selected event with another staff member who has access. Back closes the drawer; arrow keys move between rows. Open event page opens a standalone view with Copy link and Newer / Older controls.

Editing a reason from the dashboard

Administrators can choose Add reason or Edit reason on supported moderation events, including bans, kicks, warnings, removals, and denied requests. Reasons are shared with Discord: saving updates the reason there when LogDog can still access the message.

The Add/edit moderation reasons feature grant applies to Discord buttons only. It does not let a non-administrator edit reasons on the dashboard. See Reason presets and Discord editing.

LogDog Activity

This page shows who acted, what changed, the target, and the result. Background work is attributed to LogDog. Use Who for users or automation, and More filters for a specific user, source, or result.

The Category filter separates two kinds of configuration history: Settings covers feature settings such as instances, role sync, linking, and notifications, while Routing changes covers which channel each log category or event goes to, including the channels the setup wizard chose when the server first connected. If one of them is empty, the page offers a switch to the other.

Open a row to see before-and-after values when recorded, failure details, follow-up work, and related actions. Records also have a shareable standalone page.

Older imported records may be marked older record and lack before-and-after values. The Discord /auditlog command uses a separate audit record with different coverage and retention; see LogDog activity and audit records.

Dates and times

Times follow your dashboard preferences. Open Settings → Personal preferences to choose a time zone, date format, and time format. The defaults follow your browser. Hover over a relative time, such as 12 min ago, for its full date and time.

In Discord

Use log channels for newly delivered events, /getmodhistory for one user's recorded history, /getmodactivity for a staff member's actions, or /auditlog for LogDog's Discord audit record. See the command reference.
